How Green is the Party

One thing the Green Party is clear on is that climate rules.

Science, no doubt, can show how we and other animals, (why we should need them?) can live on a tree and plant free environment, but that isn’t the goal of most poeple. I would like to continue to dwell in as biologically diverse environment as possible. To that end I try to curtail my killing spree to give other forms the best opportunity to mutate and breed.

However the increasing human population could soon strip this planet bare.

So we have some future scenarios, short and long term sustainable options maybe.

By short term I mean processes that we can see will fail at some future event, but appear to prolong the exploitation through at least a few succeeding generations.

Long term solutions are the illusions we allow ourselves to justify the short term options.

Most ‘green’ changes to consumerism that are touted are purely alternative uses of a finite resource. and unless we consume an ever decreasing amount, such use cannot be sustainable.

Now before I go on to trash the ’sustainability’ army I support those people who want to experience a change to a sustainable lifestyle and through changing their own consumerism aim in that direction. I do not support the gangs that try and persuade others to make changes.

So what power do we have to make changes?

The power is that of freedom from fear and dependency, not the power to manipulate, change or maintain the environment so that we can continue to benefit from it.

The sustainable approach is that the environment should benefit from each of us as individuals solely from our power of freedom, not from nuclear, quantum or solar power.

So here we have the root of the argument, that there is a potential energy below the material levels, chemical, atomic, and quanum etc. That we have reached the term quantum, which really means ‘packet of energy’ shows we haven’t really advanced from ‘a bag of coal’: we still see energy as being wrapped in convenient forms for our exploitation.

Such dependence on destruction of form only perpetuates the consumer not the consumed.

Sadly only the religious freaks have kept alive the idea of an alternative, but that has always been used as the basis of authourity rather than freedom.

Still using the notions gleaned from religions and personal ’spiritual or cosmic’ experiences I can focus and meditate on my unsustainable consumerism with a new lust for freedom from my killing spree.

So what about the global warming and climate change? Clearly our joint failure to be concerned about increasing consumption has create a sustainable destruction largely visited upon the lesser consumers by those of us predominate ones.

What we don’t need God and the Queen to tell us is:
We what nore power
We want more money, as spears and guns don’t do it for us.
More money means more consumerism and the way to get people to do those things we can not or will not do for ourselves.
Money sustains the elite that create the laws of business and decides who shall profit at another’s expense :- animal having no money have few privileges.
Money is the new God
If everyone has more money everyone will be rich and all will be fine.
As if

We are approaching a place where everyone wants more, want to be rich, wants war.

We are afraid of our own indulgences, can’t challenge them and to frail to live alone or in small family groups.

We continue to use use religion and politics to cajole and bully people into supporting the scam of sustainable development.

Uk Party Politics

You really don’t have to read this crap, but clearly I feel the need to write it so here goes:

Vote for nothing less, and ask for nothing more than a party that promotes fair and proportional representation of the people.

Everyone and all parties want better health, education, employmeny and security, but no party has access to the financial markets. The investors will always bank(vote) with whoever seems to be the prospective winner.

The competitive nature is fine for adolescents and kids at war but it is not the basis of a security for 7 billion people.

We need a government that the international community wants to work with not compete with.

We need people who will stand and say to the rich and idle to stop shouting the odds and words of mass deception.

Open and fair representation of the people is the backbone of sustainable government.

Infinity, The Bound and The Unlimited

Infinity was my goal, Unbounded is the way and Unlimited is this place.
Danger is not so much all around me but all there is. Danger of becoming aware of the infinitely stupid habits that hook me to the killing game.

Please don’t think of this as life. Existence yes, but what a degrading one.

Death is not to be courted, although it seems inevitable. It is anything but, it is a trough of illusion. It may be a slow painful slide to oblivion or a gentle slope of pink and green to heaven. However death, in the guise of ‘living’, presents itself, it is the memory of desires and not a place where life can reside.

Life can be seen whilst climbing the hills and surfing the valleys or sitting by the fire or ice, but life is always full and unhindered; and whereas my dreams are infinite they are frail and hounded.

I look more to the moon’s reflection to see a more honest picture of myself. I do not imagine I am the brother of the sun.

The Love of a Slug

The only thing I want to share is life; yet I am so devoid of the ability to do so, that I can’t even relate with any true love even to a slug. For when a slug challenges me for food, being the greater power, I pick it up and throw it into another field so I can kill the carrot rather than leave the slug to the killing. I’m immersed in fighting with slugs over who can eat a radish. Hardly a quality of life for as life is eternal there’s no need to compete for life. My existence is just a competition with other creatures to get the best pickings from our incessant killing, so there is no time or space to share life with others. Live is not a shared experience, and whilst I hold on to the comforts, security and material pleasures my conciousness demands there will be no end to my killing, so am in no position to criticise another for their killing more than me. However I do resent being press-ganged into agreeing to support others demands, just as those poorer than me resent my exploitation of their frailty

The Rising Tide

“My problem is not that the world with all its killing will end under a rising tide, but that my killing distracts me from sharing the feeling of eternal life with even a slug let alone another human.”

I’m not worried about the doom and gloom of global disasters (Noah has been there before), after all it could reduce the killing by reducing the human population. (Wasn’t that God’s idea in the first place).
I’m not worried that humans are trying to be God and may drown themselves or as God would have it, drown those that are unprepared or unable to save themselves.

My god is personal and the fact I kill and support others by keeping their company is my problem, not with what other people do. As life is eternal, the body wherein my consciousness lies is not important.

Castor and Pollux

Castor and Pollux

Castor and Pollux, are the sons of Leda and yet the fatherhood is unsure. Jupiter had beguiled her as a swan and some say that Castor caught the mortal gene and Pollux (Polydeuces) the imortal. Others say that on the same night she slept with Tyndareus, her husband. Four children were born, that’s agreed. Daughters Clytemnestra and Helen. Some say that Castor and Clytemnestra are Tyndareus children and are mortal, whilst Helen and Pollux are Zeus’s and imortal. Given that Castor died then maybe he was Tyndareus’s son.
